Social media
I have developed hands-on experience in social media marketing through my roles as a Social Media Marketing Intern for Maggie Dunn & Co., a Marketing Intern for Extra Special People (ESP), and a Social Media and Marketing Intern for the UGA Career Center. Across these positions, I’ve worked across a range of industries and audiences, from luxury wedding photography to nonprofit storytelling and higher education career development, which has strengthened my ability to adapt tone, voice, and visual strategy to fit each unique brand identity.
Through these experiences, I’ve learned how to communicate brand value in ways that feel both cohesive and engaging, while still introducing fresh, creative perspectives that resonate with target audiences. My work has included content strategy development, short-form video creation, Instagram and TikTok management, campaign planning, and translating long-form content into digestible, engaging social media assets. I’ve also gained experience in maintaining consistent posting schedules, analyzing trends, and intentionally aligning content with both platform algorithms and brand goals.
I’m especially drawn to social media for its fast-paced, ever-evolving nature as there is always a new trend to explore, a strategy to refine, or an idea to bring to life. I enjoy the balance of creativity and strategy required to create content that not only performs well but also feels authentic to the brand behind it. Below is a selection of my favorite work from these experiences, showcasing my approach to thoughtful, creative, and brand-aligned content.

Extra Special People
Executive Marketing Intern, May 2025 - May 2026
I have worked at Extra Special People (ESP) as the CEO’s Marketing Intern from June 2025 to present. ESP is a nonprofit organization dedicated to shifting perspectives on disability by building a supportive and inclusive community for individuals with disabilities and their families, and ESP has been an integral part of my college experience, as I have volunteered with the nonprofit for several years.
In my role as the CEO’s intern, I focused primarily on developing and supporting her personal brand as a leader, speaker, and author, helping to shape marketing strategies that elevated her voice across platforms. I managed the CEO's LinkedIn and Instagram, staying organized through the use of a content calendar that I developed in Asana.
During my time in this position, the CEO published her first book, The Joy Exchange, and a significant part of my work centered on promoting the book through social media, supporting sales at events, and assisting with the marketing efforts for a national book tour. I supported promotional efforts for the book across multiple high-visibility channels, including a Times Square billboard, placement at Barnes & Noble on Fifth Avenue, and collaborations with social media influencers and celebrities. During this time, the book quickly rose to become a USA Today Bestseller, amplifying the impact of the campaign.
This internship provided me with diverse, hands-on experience in sales, social media marketing, personal branding, and public relations, all of which have contributed to my growth as a marketing professional.
